  1. ^lThe PICT Control Installer

  3. The installer exists to install the PICT Control definition resource (CDEF ID 256) into any resource file.

  5. When you click on the Installer icon a standard ΓÇ£open boxΓÇ¥ will appear.  Choose the resource file you want to install the PICT Control definition function in.  If thereΓÇÖs already a CDEF with an ID of 256 in the resource file, youΓÇÖll be asked if you want to replace it.

  7. ThatΓÇÖs it.

  9. And, yes, you could accomplish the same thing by using ResEdit.  This just may be more convenient, thatΓÇÖs all.
